In 2015 our local schools and community college district was awarded a $7,700,000 grant. Our partners represent Colusa, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba County in forming the Northern California STREAM (Science, Technology, Technical Reading, Engineering and Math) Pathways Consortium.
The funding for the STREAM program will create a system of robust Career Technical Education Pathway Programs that target high growth industries. STREAM will ensure our students are career and college ready and able to compete for high paying jobs in a global economy.
A special thanks to local school districts, community based organizations, elected officials and in particular, local business partners for their part in the awarding of this grant. The program will benefit thousands of students in our area.
